How does it work?

Please Know:

We almost NEVER have any available puppies due to how we run our waitlist system! We won't breed two dogs together until we have homes lined up for them. We take $200 deposits for 3-4 males and 3-4 females from each litter we plan! These are our EARLY DEPOSIT SPOTS! After these spots have been filled, we start creating a waitlist and adding interested families to that waitlist. Once puppies are born, we require a $300 deposit to secure a puppy within that specific litter, the families who have placed the early deposits are the ones who are given the option to place securing deposits first, then the waitlisted families, so there are not usually any available puppies left to list on our website. So, if you're interested in a puppy from our program, place a deposit for the litter you're interested in or get on the waitlist!

Jetta X Rip

We are planning on breeding Jetta to Rip, owned by Rocky Mountain Field Goldens on her next heat cycle. This will be Jetta's last litter before she retires from breeding and gets to live out her golden years with us! Jetta is a very cool, calm, and collected girl, she's very people oriented and loves to please her handler. She has low energy levels and medium to high drive levels, loves a good game of fetch and comes alive when she's hunting, but she's more than content to relax in the house all day! She is extremely dog neutral, preferring to just exist around our other dogs rather than join in on the play. She would have made a wonderful service dog with her natural confidence and mellow demeanor. A little about Rip from his owners: Rip is a stunning dog with a dark red coat and a heart of gold! He has two passes towards his JH and should title by the end of the year, our goal is MH! He comes from one of the most decorated breeders in the midwest located in Minnesota. He has a perfect on/off switch- he can be very gentle with young children but also knows how to put on his game face when out hunting or competing. We love his temperament and demeanor, if we had to guess what Rips favorite thing to do is we would say he loves being with his people. Whether out on an adventure in the mountains or curled up on the couch watching a movie, he truly just loves being a big buddy to anyone and everyone. He is very handler oriented and loyal, with medium food drive. Rip also loves to play with other dogs and is very social. Once Rip is asked to work there is no quit in him whatsoever! His enthusiasm for life is infectious- whether it’s retrieving ducks in icy water, on a hike with the family, or just lounging on the porch while we cook burgers on the grill!" Jetta and Rip should produce VERY dark colored and wonderful stable-minded, versatile, and well rounded puppies that should excel in any direction they go in! Ideal for families, hunting homes, sport homes, and possibly even service or therapy work!

Tikka and Ruger will be bred on Tikka's next heat cycle! We own both these dogs and couldn't be happier with how they have both matured and developed. They are our family dogs, our weekend warriors an our fun sporty dogs! Tikka is stable, confident, easy going, very handler oriented and biddable and is my husband's velcro dog, her favorite place to be is in his space! Tikka is both a fun sport dog, she's been training in agility with us for a while and we are excited to begin trialing her, as well as our family dog. She is forgiving, tolerant, and overall wonderful with our young children and everything the golden retriever was meant to be. She is a high drive, medium energy dog with plenty of "go" and love for all things requiring speed, retrieval work, birds, dock diving, lure coursing, if she can go fast, she's there! In the house, she has a perfect off-switch and is content to lounge around and curl up in the couch cushions all day long! Ruger is our favorite boy and our main stud dog. We are so excited to finally use him within our own program! Ruger is a typical field golden, happy go-lucky, well-rounded, versatile, confident, stable, and VERY handler oriented and biddable. He is the sweetest boy, and our biggest cuddle-bug. Although he has a perfect off-switch and can go days without working, he LOVES work and is a HIGH drive dog! Of any and all kind! He is overjoyed just to be asked to pick a sock up off the ground and will happily complete any task asked of him. He would be considered a high drive, medium energy dog, just like Tikka, so we are expecting puppies to be the same! These will be high drive puppies and will best suited to very active family homes, sport, hunting, and working homes!

Amber X Ridge

This litter is of course, dependent on Ridge's health testing in mid January! We expect Amber to cycle around February to make for puppies born in April and going to new homes in June!

Amber( view Amber's page) and Ridge are both wonderful family dogs who are small in stature and calm in demeanor! Amber weighs just under 50lbs and Ridge around 45lbs, they are also similar in color, a beautiful darker golden with some mild waves to their coats and no white markings to be found. Amber is co-owned with my mother in law, where she lives full time and where her litter will be whelped and raised for the first few weeks, until pups are weaned and ready for their early training and socialization outings! Amber is a well-rounded and versatile girl who loves to be around her people, she is outgoing, friendly and social with people and very neutral around other dogs, with a fantastic off-switch in the house. We'd classify her as low-medium energy with low- medium drive levels. She adores kids above all else and gets to play with her "grand-kids" often! She is biddable, very easy to work with, and a good problem solver. Ridge is a lovely smaller male who is owned by Canyon Edge Acres! He is versatile, very friendly, and wicked smart with a calm demeanor just like Amber. Ridge is a chill boy but he loves to work and please his handler, he's very biddable, handler focused, and is a great problem solver! We expect these puppies to be wonderful family pets or beginner sport dogs, possibly even good hunting candidates considering Ridge's pedigree and lineage. They should be dark golden in color and around 50lbs when mature!

Skye and Summit should produce well-rounded and versatile puppies who will be able to go in multiple directions and have ideal temperaments for families, therapy work and service work! Both dogs have low to medium drive levels and low to medium energy levels. They are both very people oriented, outgoing and social and well as neutral in all situations, both love the water and enjoy dock diving at our local facility as well as tagging along with us on our everyday errands and tasks. Skye and Summit are both wonderful with small children and are the ideal family dogs for households with kids! They are very environmentally stable and both have earned their American Temperament Test Title and both dog's are on track to being certified therapy dogs. Their pups should be light to medium golden in color and around 65lbs when mature. Skye is co-owned with Canyon Edge Acres and her litter will be whelped and raised in Idaho by Audrey from Canyon Edge.

Jera's WORKING LITTER

A very versatile, heavily titled, dark golden stud has been chosen for Jera's only litter!

Puppies will be priced at $3000

We will NOT be taking deposits on this litter until puppies have been born and are deemed healthy

We are SO excited for this special litter! We co-own Jera, a certified working explosives detection k9, with her handler Melodie. Jera is currently working in Chicago and will be back with us in Idaho next year, Fall 2025, to be bred just once to a very special stud for this litter. This litter will produce very high drive, high energy dogs meant for JOBS! Jera is the epitome of a working golden, she does not quit when put to a task and will search relentlessly for her target odor! She is a lot of dog in a small body, just over 40lbs. This is a trait we like, as her smaller size makes her an ideal working dog who can fit in smaller places and travel easily. We have chosen a very versatile ( he even has versatility titles to back this up) and talented stud dog who holds titles in both AKC tracking and AKC scent work, as well as advanced titles in Obedience and Rally along with JH, WC and IABCA CH. He is fit, lean, and agile, as well as being dark golden in color with a diverse pedigree behind him, boasting both field and show lines, he has even made the hall of fame for obedience! He has plenty of go and is a true working dog who doubles as a wonderful family pet, just like Jera. For privacy reasons, we only be disclosing this male to interested puppy families who are serious about a Jera puppy! As for these serious families, we will only be letting these puppies go to Working( detection, SAR, k9 team/unit) Sport ( competitive dog sports like agility, rally, obedience, scent work, tracking, or dock diving) and Hunt ( field/ hunt test or recreational hunting) homes ONLY! These dogs will not thrive as just family pets. We are looking to donate multiple puppies ( if not all) to working homes! If you are a detection trainer, handler, or individual who holds the proper certifications or is working towards the proper certifications ( through any detection based organization) you quality for a donated puppy from this special litter!
