Our Puppy Health Guarantee is as follows:

Short-Term Health Guarantee:

The puppy/dog was previously examined by a licensed veterinarian and was found to be in good health  and a Documentation of good health will be provided to the Buyer by the Breeder.

Buyer, at its own expense, must have the puppy/dog examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours, 3 days of picking up the puppy in order for the health guarantee to remain valid. * This is a good time to administer vaccinations*

If, within the Examination Period, a licensed veterinarian finds the puppy/dog to be unhealthy or unfit for sale, the puppy/dog MUST be returned to The Breeder for a full refund of the Final Payment, if the Buyer elects to do so. The Buyer will be entitled to a replacement puppy from a current or  future litter at no extra cost. The breeder guarantees and the buyer understands the above described dog to be healthy at the time of the sale, as proven by documentation of a licensed veterinarian.  If the Buyer does not wish to return the puppy to The Breeder, the Buyer can opt for a half refund of the Final Payment to assist with possible medical bills. The Breeder will not offer refunds or future payments beyond this.

The breeder does not assume any liability for any injuries made to the puppy after the puppy leaves the breeder’s property.  The veterinarian must provide a written statement deeming the puppy/dog “unfit for purchase”, which must be sent to Breeder the day of the veterinary examination.

The foregoing guarantee expressly excludes any health issues caused by Buyer’s ill-treatment, abuse or neglect, any health issues that result from the puppy/dog’s transportation from Breeder to Buyer and all minor illnesses and health issues, including upper respiratory infections, allergic reactions, stress colitis/diarrhea, internal or external parasites or contagious viruses (including canine parvovirus), UTIs, vaginitis or umbilical hernias.

Long Term Health Guarantee:

The Breeder provides a two year health guarantee from the puppy/dog’s date of birth against any debilitating congenital conditions contingent on the puppy remaining sexually intact until the age of 24 months (2 years ) and kept at a reasonable weight as described by the body score index of 3-5.

Breeder guarantees the puppy will be unaffected by the following genetic health conditions only:

  • Hip dysplasia graded by OFA as  moderate or severe

  • Elbow dysplasia graded by OFA as grade 2 and beyond

  • Affected genetic diseases

The breeder will replace the puppy if a genetic health condition is found and precisely documented by a veterinarian prior to 2 years of age, a refund of the purchase price will not be given but The Buyer can elect to receive a “replacement” puppy at half price, given that there are future litters planned by The Breeder.

Documentation is required, with EXACT illness listed and proven, as well as an optional second opinion from the breeder's vet of choice before a replacement puppy can be provided.

Buyer understands the puppy must be taken to the vet for a health exam within 3 days of pick up, if health exam documentation is not provided within 3 days, this health guarantee is determined void. The buyer understands and agrees to uphold the health agreement and contract and acknowledges that the health guarantee can be voided in of itself and is separated from the contract as a whole.

Buyer also understands that the puppy/dog is bred before the age of 24 months, in any and all circumstances, the health guarantee is void.
