Our Up and Coming Dogs

Jera is a female we kept back from one of Ruger's first litters with Soul Desire Golden's female Willow. We fell in love with Willow's easy going and laid back temperament coupled with her enthusiasm for work. We chose Jera for her drive, structure and temperament and placed with her with our amazing co-owner who trained and certified Jera in explosives detection work. Jera is on the smaller end of the standard at just 50 pounds, making her an ideal size for a working dog, she has an athletic frame and a short wash and wear field style coat with minimal furnishings and undercoat, allowing for minimal shedding, which is exactly what we want in a working dog! She is a high drive dog with an incredible work ethic and pure enthusiasm for training of any kind, she is extremely biddable and very eager to please her handler in any and all situations! Although Jera would be considered a high drive dog, her energy levels are medium and she possesses a wonderful off-switch, making her a perfectly well-rounded companion who is easy to live with. Jera currently lives and works with her co-owner and handler in Utah but will be coming back to us to whelp and raise any litters she has.

Jera will be bred minimally to allow for advancement in her working career, therefore, we would like to see her puppies go to working homes only and will be looking to donate several to professionals or organizations that utilize detection or other working canines.
