Planned for Summer/ Fall of 2026

This litter will be priced at $3500

We will begin taking deposits in July when Maggie's final hip/elbow is passed but we are compiling a list of interested families.

Maggie is one of our upcoming girls and IF she passes her final health testing in July of 2026, she will be bred to Volos, a grand champion male imported from Argentina, shortly after. We will have to plan Maggie's litters very early in advance as she is a carrier of a non-breed specific genetic disease and must be bred to a clear boy in order to produce non- affected puppies! This means we have to go out of our way to order, pay for, and test any males we might want to use as a stud for her, months and months ahead of time, as most golden retrievers are not routinely tested for Copper Toxicosis.

Maggie one seriously special girl! She is incredibly driven, very handler oriented with a phenomenal work ethic and lots of natural handler focus. She has a lot of qualities that would have made her a great service dog. Maggie earned her show title, CCA, the certificate of conformation assessment at the Western Regional GRCA show in California this Spring and the judges had some wonderful things to say about her. She is a very moderate dog, correct in structure and type, with functional form, lovely angles, coat, temperament, and movement! She does have a good bit of energy, although can relax in the house and still has a nice off-switch when she's not up to anything fun. She is a very easy dog and was one of my easiest puppies to train and is one of those naturally quiet dogs as well, she never makes a peep! She is very birdy and has been hunting with us a couple times. Before she is bred she will likely have a few more titles under her belt as well! With Maggie coming from an outcross breeding herself ( her sire was imported from Ireland) and Volos coming from Argentina with Argentinian influence in his pedigree, this litter should be fairly diverse and offer a lower COI.

Here is what Volos' owners have to say about this handsome and talented guy:

Volos is proudly owned by Michael and Kathleen Lovlie.  Volos came to us from Liberty Golden Kennels in Argentina owned by Carina Mestre. Born in April 2021, standing at the middle of breed standard at 23.5 inches tall, Volos is a stunning dog with good bone & balance. He has smooth effortless movement, nice reach, looks good coming and going, has a nice head piece with a soft expression and an excellent level topline. His temperament is sweet, very playful, and loves to cuddle.

Volos received his first BIS as a puppy at just under 12 months of age and AKC Puppy of Achievement.  Volos received his second BIS at 24 months handled by owner Michael Lovlie. Volos completed his AKC Championship at 19 months handled by Cheyenne Calvert and completed his AKC Grand Championship in April '24 being owner and professionally handled and has achieved multiple NOHS Group placements, including a Group 1 along the way.  Volos achieved his UKC Championship in Sept '23.  â€‹In his CCA evaluation at the 2023 GRCA National Specialty Volos received a high score of 95 out of 100 (he was bribing the judges with extra doggie kisses) and was awarded his CCA certification.

Maggie and Volos should produce some lovely, correct, sweet, and talented dogs who are willing to please their handlers and do just about anything and everything. These dogs should be well suited to active families, sport, show, and possibly service homes as well. They should be medium to dark in color and around 23' tall when mature and 60-65lbs when mature. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹
