This will be Birdie's third and likely her last litter before she retires with us and becomes a full time socializer/aunty dog! This time around she will be bred to a lovely boy named Cooper, owned by Canyon Edge Acres.
Birdie is just happy to exist, she's laid back, chill, loves to be around her people, and is always smiling! She is very naturally confident and stable, she loves going for outings, exploring our local park, or just hanging out with our pack. She's one of those dogs that just thrives with other dogs around, she'll play with the young puppies and rough house with the teenagers, and when she's not romping with the other dogs or living her best couch potato life, she is laying in one of the kiddie pools. Birdie is a true water dog at heart and loves nothing more than to swim at the lake and retrieve bumpers. Bird is also the sweetest most biddable girl who loves to please her handler. Although her pedigree does not have many fancy names, she has several full siblings who are quite accomplished. Three are working as task trained service dogs, one being a successful seeing eye dog.
Cooper is also a very laid back family oriented boy who loves to get up and go when asked, but prefers to spend most of his day just lounging around the house with his young kiddos. His sire is Bullet, the well-known heavily titled boy who works as a full time POTS service dog and has produced many task trained service dogs himself! Cooper shares his sire's laid back confident personality along with his willingness to please and work for his handler.
Birdie and Cooper should produce some very chill puppies who are lower in energy with medium drive levels, wonderful off-switches and a natural love of water. These pups will love to please their handlers and we predict this will be a litter that produces service quality puppies. These pups should be medium to dark golden in color with easy maintenance flat coats and will likely be between 60-70lbs when mature.
