MAGGIE

MAGNOLIA aka MAGGIE

Maggie is probably my FAVORITE female I have ever raised!

She is moderate in apperance as far as field lines goes, with a good amount of coat that doesn't shed much and has a nice "curl" to it in areas. She has wonderful structure as well, being correctly angled (although long in the leg) with no white markings and a lovely medium golden to dark golden colored coat. She has earned her show title, CCA (certificate of conformation assessment) at the GRCA Western Regional and had lovely scores from all three judges who loved her moderate build, correct structure and temperament. She earned her CCA ( certificate of conformation) in March of 2026 and her IABCA International Championship in May 2026, the judges loved her temperament and each judge that examined her noted her lovely movement and correct angles, despite being on the larger end of the standard. She stands quite tall for a female, at the very top of the standard at 23". Her front is lovely with correct rear angles to give her an overall balanced appearance while standing and moving.

This girl is really something special and I think she takes the win for the smartest dog I've ever owned. Maggie would be considered a high drive high energy dog. She has zero quit, she loves loves loves to work and please and uses that noggin of her and she will do anything for whoever is handling her. She is one of the best problem solvers I own and is always guessing what I'm going to ask next, she's one of those dogs will offer the behavior she thinks you're going to ask for. This girl has DRIVE, nothing will get in way from finding that ball, accomplishing the "up" command etc, she's a huge thinker and picks up on concepts quicker than any other dog we own, and will work with her handler's guidance to solve a problem. She is not very independent and prefers to hang close by when we're out and about, but she IS a social butterfly. She loves meeting new people, but is naturally neutral around other dogs and gets along with everyone and everything. I love her work ethic, she lives to PLEASE and needs no rewards for completing tasks and she relies heavily on her handler for direction.

She offers some very important genetic diversity to our program and we look forward to combining her unique pedigree with diverse lines to produce puppies with low COI's. Her father, Reggie, is an Irish Imported dog, now residing at High Plains Goldens in CO, where he hunts daily. He boats a wonderfully diverse UK pedigree with ThinkTwice, Kailture, and Gaytonwood lines. Her mother, Penny is out of HRCH Rory, who I had been watching for years and dreaming of a puppy from. He is one of the most accomplished HRC( UKC Hunt Retriever Club) dogs in America and one of the highest producers of HRC titled offspring. Needless to say, Maggie is talented, very birdy, and smart as a whip with a loaded pedigree behind her full of talent and much needed diversity. .
