Tikka is one of our favorite girls and we will be making one last attempt to breed her in December or January 2027. Tikka has had one large beautiful litter and then failed to carry to term the second time the breeding was attempted after discovering her fertile window is very short. That and coupled with the fact that she only cycles every 9 months, we are super hopeful we can progesterone test and try for a surgical TCI to maximize our chances of pregnancy this time around.

This girl is a smart cookie and a great problem solver. She was an easy to train little puppy and went almost everywhere with us when she was young. As a result she is one of our go-to camping dogs, she loves to be with her people and tags along on adventures with us. She is an even-tempered, very happy, wiggly, cuddle-bug of a dog who loves nothing more than sleep on our bed or smother my husband on the couch, she's the kind of dog that could live in your skin if she could. Nothing phases this girl, she is as solid as a rock. We often call her "tweaker," because she is just high on life. But don't let her usual goofy personality fool you, this girl is pretty drivey and she can turn it on when it's time to work! She's birdy, has a great nose on her and spends most of her time soaking in the pools or hunting for squirrels and voles in the yard. Although she can turn it on when it's time to work, she has a great off-switch in the house and is a perfect versatile and well-rounded family dog, she is even good with our chickens and can happily co-exist while they are loose. She can also chill inside for days at a time when we're busy but is one of my best running partner dogs, she has even earned herself "free house privledges" and can stay loose when we leave and be trusted not to become destructive.

Here is what Easy's' owners have to say about this handsome and talented guy:  Easy was born in April 2021 and is 24" tall and 77lbs. He is a stunning do with good bone, structure, and balance. He has a smooth effortless movement, nice reach, looks good coming and going. He has a nice head with a soft expression and a level topline. His temperament is sweet, playful and gentle. Easy finished his AKC Championship at 29 months old and then went on to make the cut t the 2023 GRCA National Specialty. He recently completed his AKC Grand Championship as well with a sporting group 2 placement.

Tikka and Easy should produce some lovely, correct, sweet, goofy, and talented dogs who are willing to please their handlers and do just about anything and everything. These dogs should be well suited to active families, sport, possibly show and possibly service homes as well. They should be medium to dark in color and around 23' tall when mature and 65-75lbs when mature. ​​​​​​
