Planned for 2027

This litter will be priced at $3500

We have begun taking deposits on this litter but ask that families be willing to wait for a future litter in the rare case that Maeve does not pass her testing in July 2026.

Maeve is one of our upcoming girls and IF she passes her final health testing in December of 2026, she will be bred to our own boy Ruger! We are planning and posting this litter very far in advance in order to hopefully find the best suited families for this litter!

This will be a high drive litter and meant for experienced families who are familiar with field goldens, their higher energy levels and greater need for mental and physical stimulation. This litter will not produce calm, couch potato, therapy type dogs! These will be dogs meant for active families, service work, detection work, sports, and hunting homes!

Maeve is my very first bred by girl in our program, she was born and raised here out of our retired girl Jetta and Rip from Rocky Mountain Field Bred Retrievers. She is a lovely medium dog all around, medium drive levels, lower medium energy levels, with a fantastic off-switch. She is a super easy going girl who likes to work, relax in the house, and get out and about. She is currently chasing titles and has been away in training for the past several months. She should come home with JH, BN, RN, FTN, ATT ( Junior hunt, beginner novice, rally novice, fetch novice, and AKC temperament test). She should also earn her Working Certificate title as well as her Certificate of Conformation Assessment title before she turns 2.

Ruger is our unicorn boy! He is our only male and this may be one of his last litters in our own program before he officially retires from breeding. He is a very active dog and would be considered a very very high drive dog- very little will stop him from completing his job, whether than be retrieval work, tasking around the house, or hunting down a shed. He has higher medium energy levels and the absolute best off-switch I have ever seen in such a high drive dog. He LIVES to work, and needs no reward to do so either. But, he can sleep in the house all day long and go months on end with zero work and still be comfortable to live with. He spends 90% of his time relaxing and sleeping in the house and loves to get up zoom around the yard, hunt squirrels, and head out for daily runs with me. He is a huge problem solving dog and uses his brain and nose really well when put to a task. He has produced several hunting dogs as well as some incredible working dogs, our explosive detection k9 , Jera, being one his daughters. He is a proven producer of service dogs and continues to produce many naturally alerting dogs, several of whom have naturally alerted to their owners seizures and cardiac conditions.

We expect this litter to produce some phenomenal dogs who are well suited to active and experienced homes, jobs, service work, dog sports and hunting too! These dogs should be dark in color with nice flat field style coats and should max out at around 55-60lbs when mature. They should love water, having a job to do and being involved in active lifestyles!
